CADRE and VRHRC-IC conduct research, quality improvement, and implementation studies locally, regionally, and nationally. CADRE and VRHRC-IC are known for their expertise in telehealth, rural health, infectious disease, women’s health, care coordination, medication safety and multimethods research.

OAA Advanced Fellowship in Health Systems Research (HSR)

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is the largest provider of health professions education and training and the second largest funder of graduate medical education in the United States. VA's health professions education prepares the next generation of health professionals through skills enhancement, leadership preparation, and policy understanding.

The Center for Access & Delivery Research and Evaluation (CADRE) and the Veterans Rural Health Resource Center – Iowa City (VRHRC-IC) at the Iowa City VA Health Care System offers three fellowship opportunities.
