Carolyn Turvey, PhD, MS
Dr. Turvey is an Investigator with the Center for Delivery & Research and Evaluation (CADRE) at the Iowa City VA, the Clinical Director of the Office of Rural Health Veterans Rural Health Resource Center – Iowa City and a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.
She is interested on establishing population health models that improve care continuity for rural Veterans. Dr. Turvey's research explores the use of telemedicine to enhance access to and quality of care. She is also exploring the use of health informatics and electronically captured patient reported outcomes to engage patients in their care. Dr. Turvey is very proud to conduct research at VHA which is the largest health care system in the United States.
