Daniel J. Livorsi, MD
Daniel Livorsi, MD, MSc is an Infectious Disease physician and an Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He is also the Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship within the Iowa City VA Healthcare System.
He is currently funded by a VA Career Development Award to study the implementation of antimicrobial stewardship in hospitals that lack Infectious Disease specialists. He has active collaborative relationships with the VA National Antimicrobial Stewardship Taskforce and the Society of Healthcare Epidemiology in America.
